A third consecutive year working with NBA Entertainment had Camino Media camera crews and production support on location as the New Orleans Hornets beat the Washington Wizards before a Spanish crowd. The head-to-head NBA matchup was a departure from previous years that pitted the Memphis Grizzlies against Spanish league (ACB) teams Unicaja in Malaga and Estudiantes in Madrid, Spain, while the Toronto Raptors challenged Real Madrid on its home court. Off-court, Spanish players Pau Gasol, Juan Carlos Navarro, Jose Calderon, and Jorge Garbajosa drew crowds to NBA marketing and charity events in both cities.
